Bike-hike trail will be extended in Liberty Township
LIBERTY TOWNSHIP -- Construction is expected to start this spring to extend a
bike-hike trail that ultimately will be accessible by about 500 new homes.
The Wetlands trail will run off Lesourdesville-West Chester Road between the
Knolls of Liberty Reserves and Estates subdivision and the township’s Wetlands
Park.
The subdivision developer, Joe Schwarz, will pay for 600 feet of the new trail,
and the township will pay for 400 feet, said Jon West, the township’s director
of planning and zoning.
A cost estimate was not available.
