Another LNDD mistake

L'equipe and Pat McQuaid come back to say it wasn't negative but
"unreadable":

They're sending it back to "le laboratoire parisien (de
Châtenay-Malabry)" for re-testing, in order, one suspects, to get
the "right" result.

Today though the Belgian lab in Ghent has said it wasn't negative but
"illegible" which is not the same thing

The close link between Châtenay-Malabry (LNDD) and L'Equipe is well
known. In fact L'Equipe usually gets the results on the news stands
before any official notification by the lab has taken place. Probably
something to do with L'Equipe being owned by the same company as the
Tour de France itself.

Quite so. It appears that it is the lab testing the 'B' sample which
has screwed up, not the French one...
