Is there anyone who has had an ellsworth for more than a couple of years
and not broken it?
We have 4 Ids 3 truths and one (ex) joker rider in our crowd, every one
has had multiple frame failures.

2003 Id still going strong. I'm an intermediate rider 5'5" at 145
pounds and run a marz z1 in front and romic coil at 350# in back. I
ride a fair amount of rocky trails with an occassional 1 - 2 foot drop.
Was this an air shock or coil?

Sounds like a GIANT mistake to me.lol...I had my Giant 2002 AC1 chainstay
swingarm crack under normal use. Giant replaced it with a revised version.
It was a comman problem from what I was told. It can happen to any frame
maker.

2003 ID with 2004 rear triangle No problems. 225 lbs trail rider.1 to 2 foot
drops. 30 years on a 18 lb roadbike made me a light rider

I've yet to break my crappy Giant frame, despite weighing a good 210 and
occasionally getting both wheels off the ground. Perhaps it's just a
lightweight wannabe racer thing 😉.

Yeah, we all got these great deals on ebay from this place in korea :-)

Actually they're all from different shops, some web order, some LBS,
mine was the only used one.
