  1. hi folks,

Blimey - here I am again. Another week has just flown by - odd, cos it felt like it was
    dragging......

    Anyway, I digress........

So, last night wasn't my usual Wednesday night - we went to a Christmas Carol concert in Bristol
Cathedral - which meant the odd nibble of mince pie and some red wine afterwards. Knowing this would
happen, I weighed myself yesterday, just in case I didn't like what I saw today..... (On an aside -
I'm not sure I trust my scales - they're digital but seem to flit around a bit before they make
their mind up - so I tend to take the reading I've had several times). Yesterday it fluctuated a
bit, but still settled at just over a lb down - which I was going to take, but decided to WI this
morning properly nonetheless. I was not expecting good things this morning - but the first 3
readings all said the same thing - Down 1.8 on last week! I'm gobsmacked!

Weird isn't it - rather than take the continued good and be carefreely happy about it - you start
wondering if your scales are broken instead? *grin* Still, I'll take it, and be happy - and all this
will certainly help set me up for Christmas 🙂

  4. That sounds gobsmacked great for a weekly loss. Congrats.

The WW digital scale also bounces a bit when I get on the scale.

  12. I only ever WI at home now - leaving the country for a while and coming back got in the way of
regular meeting attendance - and as a Gold Member, you don't have to weigh in so often - although
I've probably run out of grace now.....

I also refuse to go back and WI until what those scales are going to show is going to be within my
allowed limit so that a) it won't cost me and b) I won't get all the associated grief that goes with
    being over......
