I am using a piece of shareware called oziexplorer. This allows you to use scanned in maps and plot your own tracks, waypoints etc. Then you can print out the map with the track painted on it. Oziexplorer has the interface to upload the track and Waypoints to your GPS
This is a much cheaper method but you do not get the 3D effects that one reputedly does from memory map and Anquet.
Oziexplorer is available as a trial from www.oziexplorer.com

Oziexplorer 3D has some 3D effects but they are static and you need good height data. SRTM data is now available for free. It does contain some anomalies though.

Unfortunately the review does not include Fugawi. I have been using FugawiUK with my Geko 201 and find it easy to use. My main consideration when choosing the software was cost. I bought FugawiUK South for £79.99 with free postage from gps4less.co.ukfugawiuk.htmOpen ↗
