Any Artichoke Tapenade Recipes?

That was my take on it too. . .and it wasn't expensive. About $6.00
or so for a large jar.

I was thinking of making a little sauce with some of it, by adding a
little sour cream, a little white wine, and using it over grilled
chicken breasts.

It's on my list. For sure. I bet it would be nice tossed with pasta.

Well, since nobody asked me I wouldn't suggest a few cans of articoke bottoms
rinsed, chopped fine and then boiled in salt water to reduce the citrus then
mash though a stainer, adding a little mayo to desired gloppiness.

But since no one asked me... 😉

Hi M,

Heres what I do-
Slice some baguettes and toast with a brush of olive oil
Top baguette slices with toscano or other good sheeps milk cheese
Add a small slice of cooked baby artichoke heart
Broil until warm through
Top with a teaspoon of the tapenade

It is a great newsgroup isn't it! I've certainly received my share of
great ideas here. . .and only a couple of bad ones - LOL

I suspect the Artichoke Tapenade will be gone by weeks end. I like
the idea of using it with tossed pasta too. Sounds simple, easy, and
delicious.

I've never had Costco's, but Trader Joe's sells it in small jars and it
is really nice on toasted baguette or as a spread on leftover turkey or
chicken sandwiches as well as a cracker spread for hors d'oeuvres.

Hear, hear! I've about 1/3 of a jar of it in my fridge right now. I
now have three TJ within reach (a couple long reaches) and I've been to
all of them. I picked up a tomato basil foccacia last week -- didn't
realize, though, how quickly it would dry out. I tossed half of it.

Last time we went to Costco, the artichoke tapenade was being sampled.
It was on some kind of toasty thing. It was very good. However, it was
twice the price of the artichokes hearts.
