It depends on whether you know what you want, because if you do you can get some great bargains online. I use wiggle, probikekit and chainreactioncycles the most.

If your not sure then you best to get to a physical store and get some solid advice. As for the Bristol area I dont know the bike shops but if you ever in London check out Condor Cycles in the city or Luciano in the Clapham. I tend to favour the smaller boutique stores as the staff are cyclists and know what the are talking about compared to the big chain stores.

  3. Probikekit is very good.

I buy from www.highonbikes.com, Mike is very good, if the item is not on the site, he still can usually get it for you at a very good price.

Here are some good pedals to consider
    highonbikes.comproduct.asp

  5. as already mentioned Chainreaction the prices seem reasonable and delivery is free in the UK. I got some shoes at a really good price a couple weeks back but on backorder because of size.. waiting waiting..

  6. Even though I live way down under - I have used Ribble and Parker, I have found them cheap for a lot of gear, even when adding in the postage to aus. Things can get pretty expensive here.

They have always been quick and well packaged.

    Hi fowlerstevie,

I've got a small inventories of jersey, bib and short at very low price, you can keep me posted maybee I can send you some pictures of what I have. Very low profit margin because I do that for fun, I'm a fanatic of cycling and cycling clothing.

    Thanks, velowiz
