I think you are incorrect, in a number of areas.
Lance has stated publicly that the TT up Mt Ventoux in the Dauphine Libere
was just a test for equipment and he did not want to hit it as hard as he
did last year when he came to the tour slightly fatigued from it. He will
not make the same mistake twice. If you think that was his best effort at
the TT up Mt Ventoux in the Dauphine Libere, you're in for a big surprise.
Ullrich's team is not riding very cohesive in the mountains this tour. That
will get even worse on Friday and Saturday.
Lance will put time on everyone on these super-hard mountain stages. To
under-estimate Lance is a big mistake. Whether you like him or not, he is a
very intelligent rider with a great team and manager. He is right where he
wants to be.
Never underestimate the power of a super-motivated, highly capable, talented
individual like Lance Armstrong.

Quoted message said:All these flat stages with no TT or mountain stage have made for one
long boring stretch of TdF watching. The Tour is all about the
mountains and the TTs, the flat stages and boring sprints and breakways
by no names are just window dressing. Tomorrow is when we'll find out
who's for real and who's a pretender. It would not suprise me if a
rider that is not Armstrong/Ullrich/Hamilton/Mayo comes out of nowhere
to become a legit GC contender. Last year proved that age is catching
up to Armstrong and this year will I will make a bold prediction.
Armstrong will crack, lose time to 1 or 2 riders in the TTs and one or
two of the mountain stages and will not win the Tour.
The hype has gotten unreal for LA and even the general public who knows
nothing about cycling think he's gonna win again. But all the suckers
have jumped on the bandwagon too late. The TT up Mt Ventoux in the
Dauphine Libere was not a fluke, and he's no longer the invicible champ.
Watch the attacks fly by him in the coming days. Can't wait.
