Army goretex pro boot

Seeing as you've had no other replies (that I can see) I'll just chip in that my mate absolutely
swears by them. That's from use in the Brecons and similar.

experience who need their help. Does your friend give any reason why he thinks the boots are good. I

Surely the Brecons recently have been pretty dry and unless the advice is from a period of more
normal climate, I guess the conditions wouldn't have challenged the Gore-Tex linings.

What particularly do you have in mind for them (or, put another way, what help are you particularly
after)? Have a look at the Boot FAQ which gets posted here reasonably often or you can find it at
faqs.orgbootsOpen ↗ and apply it to the army boots just as any other is a
good start.

*IF* they fit *YOUR* feet then they will be as good as any other no doubt. For boots the crucial
facors are fit, fit, fit, and fit.

He's had them for over two years now; he's used them for extended exercises, got them wet, and
worked them hard. They've stayed comfortable dry and undamaged.

FWIW, I've always had a real thing for bog standard Brit Army boots. They can take whatever you deal
out to them, of course they've got really good ankle support and grip and i've never had leak nor
blister. He describes the pro boots (as you'd expect) as even better.

If you're planning to cross a desert, or climb a very high mountain, they won't necessarily be the
best things, but for the UK and fairly similar, I reckon they'd be great.

But I wouldn't place too much weight on my opinion and of course, making sure they fit will help 🙂
