Near (South London) Oval Underground station the ASL on the Southbound
section of the Kennington Road, at the set of traffic lights before
the Camberwell Rd and Harleyford Street lights, stops at the cycle
lane right edge white line rather than continue (as I would first
expect) right up to the curb.
Is this just sloppy marking, or does the "motor car/bike exclusion
zone" actually extend into the six sided perimeter of the combined
cycle lane and motor exclusion zone (i.e. a sort of "b" shape), giving
in effect a two stage ASL?
(I apologise for the awkward wording of this post)
