Not absolutely true. If there is an avian flu outbreak my understanding is
there will bee a 1 mile exclusion zone around the infected farm etc.

Therefore some public footpaths could be closed! But not on the scale as
with F&M

statements you'll find that they do not commit themselves!

Note the word LITTLE that implies it's possible to me.

Correct :-0 But there is no certainty a footpath may not be closed!

they seem to be talking as if its a foot and mouth type
situation, if this disease becomes endemic we will have to live
with it, surely they don't intend more mad mass culling and an
end to free range for the foreseeable future? Don't answer that
:-(

Well I tried not to, but.......... 🙂 It's emerged now that
inoculation of poultry flocks isn't an option in the UK because the
Govt. has no stock of the appropriate vaccine and furthermore does not
intend to order any. Bradshaw confirmed that their preferred solution
