Um.......now I'm confused. I think the issue for Axel is twofold. He wants
to ride the Tour (for stage sins and not necessarily as a give it all for
Armstrong rider) and wants support in the Classics and other races.

In addition to that, based on past history, I'd say that thinking you're
going to the Tour to hunt stage wins is a very slim possibility on a team
run by Bruyneel. Even if Armstrong wasn't riding the TdF, I'd think
Bruyneel would find someone else to focus on in the same way. He seems to
believe that's a good formula for Tour success (and based on the last 6
years, who's arguing?)
