That would be why you didn't like being called a trolling racist
    hypocrite, then.

How can someone be a racist hypocrite, the real hypocrites in this
    couuntry
are the liberals who champion the cause of anti-racism, but don't want
    their
children to marry the less whites, or live next door to them.

Racisum is not purely a White thing, in my experience the worst examples of racism come from ethnic minorities themselves and are directed at whites and other ethnic minorities. Which is not to say that there was never a case for there being racists but if you troll through 300 years of history etc.. the fact is that we should be moving forwards.
The 'Gift' mentality or blame culture which is so evident amongst some portions of large ethnic groups mearly shifts the blame for their failure onto the shoulders of others without any factual basis. It is easy to blame society for your own failings as it absolves you of any responsiblity for your own actions or failures. The result is that so called 'normal' people get sick to the back teeth with hearing about it and this becomes the thin edge of a wedge which could allow the resurgance of pre-post 1939 ideas and politics.
It is a fact that this and previous governments have accepted the influx of imigrants into this country without any real actions to stem an increasing flow. This country is not and cannot ever be the " first safe state" from which a refugee can claim asylum unless by air.
An increasing proportion of credit card fraud and low level street crime is being committed by immigrants. White imigrants mainly from eastern baltic states. They know the system and exploit it blatently. I know of Fagin type gangs roaming London where discipline is enforced with beatings. Hell one of these kids was put through a shop window because he didn't steal enough Mobile Phones... wouldn't talk though.
Fact is racism is about being different. If a group is easily identifiable it can be made the subject of abuse. Colour is just the easiest way of defining a differance. There will always be people who seek to absolve themselves of their personal responsibilities as there will always be those people who are racist or homophobic or anti semetic because they cannot think that much further than they need to and seek to blame others for their own short comings. It makes them feel better but does nothing to help the society which we should all be trying to live in.

You could always become a Sikh. You'll also get a nice big sword to
scratch cars and carry out the traditional URC de-bollockings with too.

I presume Sikhs won't have to wear one riding, but are they exempt in riot

    "Less whites"?

Shouldn't it be the other way round? I mean, if you really want to make a
distinction, should be "coloured" and "less than coloured"; or "melanine
rich" and "melanine less than rich" (you can't say "poor", I'm told, in a
PC definition). Seems to me it'd be more technically correct too.

"There are two ways that have been used to make an assessment of which the
offenders are: (a) those arrested by the police and (b) victim's reports.

In England and Wales 28 percent of people arrested by the police for robbery
are black. In 1999 the British Crime Survey found that 31 percent of victims
identified a black person as the offender based on a small number of 203
"mugging" incidents. (Clancey et al. 2001).

In London, the Metropolitan Police report that 62 percent of people arrested
for robbery are black, compared with 27 percent who are White, 6 percent
Asian, 3 percent "dark European" and less than one percent
    "Chinese/Japanese" and "Arabian/Egyptian"."

From "Black Information Link: Independent Community Interactive Site for
    Black Communities."

    http://www.blink.org.uk/pdescription.asp?key=1021&grp=55&cat=199

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say here but directly
following on from the passage you quoted is this, which alters its
    interpretation somewhat:

"In some instances the victim does not actually know who the offender
was, in some cases the victim gets the offender's description wrong and
sometimes black people are blamed for the crime even when the victim
does not know who is responsible. There is some evidence that robbery is
more often reported when the suspect is black (Shah and Pease).
Sometimes police stereotyping leads an officer to record a suspect's
ethnicity as black, even when this is not consistent with the evidence.

The problems of under-reporting, mistaken identity and stereotyping mean
that all crime statistics should be treated with caution."

    Preceding it was this:

    "Ethnicity and Victimisation
The British Crime Survey shows that the risk of victimisation is nearly
three times as great for the black and Asian population (about 16 people
in 1000 were victimised in 2000), in comparison with the white
population (6 per 1000) 1 . It is also the case that black people are
much less likely to report being robbed, with only one in four black
victims going to the police compared to with four out of ten whites. 2

Black and Asian communities are also twice as likely to worry about
being victims of robbery, and are indeed at a greater risk of being
victims of burglary, car theft and a range of other crimes.

Black people are more at risk of being robbed and least often to turn to
the police for help; when they do seek help from the police they are
less likely to be satisfied with the outcome."

Of course none of this says anything at all about causality.
Statistics on the correlation between chaotic drug use and robbery might
well be more informative. Unfortunately the police do not record this
in their arrest records so proper information is hard to come by. Tihs
    however contains a resonable summary:
    http://www.drugscope.org.uk/druginfo/evidence-select/drugscrime.htm

An aticle in the Observer in 2003 (reproduced here:
    http://cocaine.org/cokecrime/jails.html) reports that "a staggering 79.8
per cent of prisoners entering Pentonville reception had taken cocaine
or heroin within the previous 48 hours".

Combine this with the links beween deprivation and later drug use, such
    as that outlined here:

    www.homeoffice.gov.uk/rds/pdfs2/hors253.pdf

and then correlate this with the information on relative income levels,
and geographic concentration of black and minority ethnic communities
and you might come up with statistics that you can draw meaningful
    conclusions from.

Very rare (by learned academia, which you can find at some bit of
UWE). Almost no 1st generation African slaves ended up in Bristol,.
those that did end up here (and they were a significant number) were
mainly 2nd or 3rd generation, born in the West Indies. Almost none of
them had children or left traceable families.

West Indians who turned up in Bristol before the 1950s were mainly the
descendants of slaves who were freed in the West Indies and had lived
there for some generations. They arrived in England by their own
choice, the most famous probably being Mary Seacole.

    Twaddle Twaddle Twaddle.
As I said before its easy to blame 'your' failures on someone or something else. The corralation between drug use and crime has been documented a number of times as has the fact that lower income and getto societies have higher crime rates. Nothing new there. The fact that a disproportionate number of ethenic black males are in prison compared to their relative size in the general population does not mean that they are innocent or have been unfairly victimised by the justice system.
The British crime survay and National reporting standards have skewed what officers on the street know and work with into figures which reflect what the government and the HO want the public to see. It is not PC to say certain things so any figures which could contradict the PC point of fiew are hidden or massaged into the mire.
Black on Black crime is the highest proprtion of "Black" crime with white on Black being a tiny proportion of recorded figures, hence opperations specifically targeting this population grouping.
This does not fit with your raw statements above but is a real life view of ethenic crime based figures.

If you happen to know the muggers so you can identify them so well,

    Cheers, helen s

Let's face it it's Bristol. The Police have their hands tied these
    days, but

have already shown that most muggings are carried out by Blacks,
Afrio-Carribeans or whatever the in name is these days. If the Police
were allowed to get on with their job without allthe political
interference then crime would be way down. If all people who are
    Afro-Carribean or African

were deported to-morrow crime would drop dramatically.

    Twaddle Twaddle Twaddle.

The bit where a paragraph which seems to support the theory that blacks
commit more crime, is seen in context to say that the reporting system
unfairly favours the reporting of crimes where the criminals are black?

    Quoted message said:

As I said before its easy to blame 'your' failures on someone or
something else. The corralation between drug use and crime has been
documented a number of times as has the fact that lower income and
getto societies have higher crime rates. Nothing new there. The fact
that a disproportionate number of ethenic black males are in prison
compared to their relative size in the general population does not mean
that they are innocent or have been unfairly victimised by the justice
    system.

True. But it doesn't necessarily show that they are guilty. We don't
have a brilliant track record on this in Britain, what with the
imprisonment of large parties of innocents in the face of somewhat
revealing evidence because the police had "beaten" confessions out of
them... The admission that the Steven Lawrence case was grossly
mishandled... The documented racism in the (Manchester?) Metropolitan
Police training unit... The innocents who have "died" in police custody
despite being in perfect health when arrested.

I freely admit to being cynical and not being particularly fond of our
police force, but I'd say that there are good grounds for questioning
why a disproportionate number of blacks are imprisoned, especially when
the police force comprises a disproportionate number of whites.

The British crime survay and National reporting standards have skewed
what officers on the street know and work with into figures which
reflect what the government and the HO want the public to see. It is
not PC to say certain things so any figures which could contradict the
PC point of fiew are hidden or massaged into the mire.

You're getting dangerously close to Graham's post here. Presumably you
have some figures to back up these assertions.

    Quoted message said:

Black on Black crime is the highest proprtion of "Black" crime with
white on Black being a tiny proportion of recorded figures, hence
opperations specifically targeting this population grouping.

But given that numerically, white on white crime is probably
significantly higher, why are we not targetting whites? Why is it that a
black man driving an expensive car is noticeably more likely to be
pulled over for a "random check" than a white man in the same car? (This
    one's true. I've met him!)

    Quoted message said:

This does not fit with your raw statements above but is a real life
view of ethenic crime based figures.

Or rather, it's your view of ethnic crime figures based on some stunning
insight that you have, but which you haven't shared with us, or anyone
    else.

Either that or it's blatent predudice with a thin veneer of desperate
    justification.
