Can anyone explain to me why battery calibration methods are not standardized across the industry? It seems ridiculous that I have to consult a 20-page manual just to figure out how to calibrate my bikes battery, only to find out that the process is completely different for my friends identical bike from a different brand.
Whats even more infuriating is that some manufacturers claim their batteries dont need calibration, while others say its crucial for optimal performance. Are they just trying to confuse us or are there legitimate reasons behind these discrepancies?
It cant be that hard to develop a universal calibration method that works for all e-bikes, can it? I mean, were not talking about rocket science here. Its just a bike battery. Has anyone else encountered this problem and found a reliable solution?
