BB lockring tool

Judging from the pictures, it looks like tools for standard old
fashioned (non-cartridge) BBs would work -- available from local bike shops
and Mike Dyason's.

I would give one a careful try, then failing that, ask TA where
to get the TA tool.

It looks like the six-notch type fitting on my Mirage groupset.

If so, Campagnolo used to use this before they went to ultra-torque, and
before they started using the cassette lockring tool for the BB. One of the
campy-compatible tools at the LBS is probably worth a try.

It looks like the six-notch type fitting on my Mirage groupset.

If so, Campagnolo used to use this before they went to ultra-torque, and
before they started using the cassette lockring tool for the BB. One of the
campy-compatible tools at the LBS is probably worth a try.

It's sixpoint, but at a smaller diameter than Campy. Use a single point
C-spanner or lockring pliers

I think peterwhitecycles.com was where I found dire warnings about not
using the right tool. After further looking Dotbike lists them as 'out
of stock' but let me order one anyway so I guess (hope) they'll be
getting more in at some point.

Mirage and all low-end Campags have semi-circular notches instead of square
ones like the TA has.
