Suggest a slow circular motion over your soon-to-be extended tummy.

tummy.
Given the way the clan members went caveman on 'em, you prognosticated
well-enough. <G>
I did stick with a "generic" rub, though, that seems to be common with
most dry rubs.
Salt
Pepper
Cayenne Pepper
Paprika
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Brown Sugar
and for variety I added Cinnamon.
I used a flour sifter to sprinkle the racks and this actually helped
(me) with evenly distributing the rub on all six racks.
Anyhow, turned out well with a crockpot o' baked beans and a ton 'o
jalapeno cole slaw.

I'd probably use something like Dizzy Pig's "CowLick"
http://www.dizzypigbbq.com/HTMLrubs/cowlick.html
but since you probably don't hava any on hand right now, try a simple
salt and freshly ground black pepper rub.
Optionally, you can add freshly ground Allspice berries and any hot
peppers of your chosing.
