Penny knows far more than me, but I got a trek fuel 90 (full suspension) this summer for around

you might find it interesting to do a seach on Trek Full suspensions and chain suck sometime. I
read enough stuff that you couldn't pay me to buy one, and this has nothing to do with JD's
opionion, I found it all on my own.

I've got a hardtail and I enjoy riding it - but I think one of the enjoyment factors is how good it
feels the next day when I get back on my FS.

I read about the chain suck issues too. I also read consumer reviews suggesting that it was no
longer an issue on 2003 model, which is what I got.
