  1. Isn't always easy! Last night we went to friends for dinner and fireworks - a late Guy
Fawkes/Bonfire Night celebration. The fireworks were fun, even though my coat now smells slightly of
gunpowder! We had mulled wine to warm up with after, and I had a couple of glasses of white wine
with dinner, so that was 6 points... My friend cooked a nice old fashioned steak and kidney pie for
dinner, having forgotten that I no longer eat red meat OR pastry! Still, it was very lean meat, and
I only had a little of the pastry, and it was delicious! We had mash and fresh veg to go with it,
and a cheesecake to follow. I counted 15 points altogether for dinner and wine, and use 6 earlier in
the day for breakfast and lunch, and 2 points for a late snack bar just before bed. So 23 points
altogether: One point over my allowance of 22, and I'd saved 5 from earlier in the week, so it was
no great disaster. I also suffered no particular ills from the richer than usual food, so I think I
    did very well.

Sometimes you just have to relax and enjoy! And even after dinner tonight, I'm well under points
    for today!

  5. Good job. I always find it hard to stay OP at other peoples houses. You have no control over your
food choices and you don't want to insult your hostest by not eating their food.
