during the winter months.

I'm a similar size, and have short legs (short legs run in our family
- doh!), but was pleased that a pair of Northwave tights fitted both
waistwise and weren't too long in the leg. They've been fine during
the slightly fresher weather of late.

Biblongs. Anything which is intended to be held up with a waistband will
slide down if you don't happen to have a waist. Even if you do have a
waist - I have a slight one - biglongs will probably be more comfortable.

For Tights/Biblomgs!

I've had expensive ones which have been very nice. But the thing is that
mountain biking, one falls off; and when one falls off in bibtights they
can get torn. So I now use Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op's own brand roubaix
tights, which are comfortable, warm, and cheap.

Thanks for the response I am going to go for the DHB biblongs from Wiggle as
they where featured in What MTB this month and loook like good value for
money
