Bike for wife

Lucky lady :p At that price range, I can't give you much help - find some bikes you're interested in and test them out- how the bike feels is the most important, especially if comfort is a priority. It's really up to you (and of course your wife).

Not sure if I know of any flat bar bikes (pre-made) made of Ti. I have a Giant FCR3. The FCR line are all flat bar bikes and are all comfortable. If you know how to build a bike, you might want to try that because I'm not sure if you'll find one made of Ti from the manufacturer.

UK Ti specialist GLOBAL has a compact bike that's inexpensive and yet very good. Worth checking.
