  1. Im currently looking for bikes in the $3000-$3500 price range and have been looking at many brands. I was looking at pinarello and orbea on the net but cant seem to find prices. Does anyone know the price range (preferably in Aus dollars) for these brands?

    Thanks guys

Here are just a couple of price listings from a quick search on Qbike.com. Sorry, in US$. I think the current exchange rate is (X1.31372) though a VAT may botch the comparison.

  5. Dude,

I recently purchased Giant TCR Euro for $3299 with $500 voucher thrown in (so I got pedals, shoes etc etc for $3299) from Lawrencia Cycles in Melbourne. Works out to be $1000 off retail.

What I got was a full composite frame, Ksyrium Equippe's, Campaq Centaur.

I doubt you will get anything other than Alloy frame (probable/possible carbon rear), Shimano 550's in the brands you mentioned.

I love the feel of the carbon over alloy.

Might be food for thought for you????

  6. Thanks for all your help...i ended up purchasing a Giant 2004 TCR Composite 1...i love the all carbon frame! 🙂 🙂

  7. A good friend just bought a Colnago C-40 2003 model B-stay w/ Record 9 speed , Cinelli bars/stem= 350 grams , King HS, Time Impact Mags, all new for $3000 . 🙂 Those deals you have to be on top of things 😉
