That's the beauty of steel, Mr. BB... you can cut it up and put it back together any way you like

That's it. We've got one guy around here that does perfect SS conversions. I can't tell that my
frame was cut & welded on unless I look really close. And he easily matched the paint. I hear that
I'll probably stretch my chain a little and have to fiddle a few times, but that goes with the
territory. So tonight's the night.

I'm not complaining mind you, but come late August with 70 days in a row of heat & sunshine, some
rain is pretty welcome.

The ride tonight was good. I used the new gloves, the GR jersey, the improved SS, felt real strong
and frisky, and had good eatin afterwards at our favorite spot.

I might take you up on it, but not for my sake, for my wife's. She loves the rain, I can take it or
leave it, and guess I've pretty much left it. whenever we plan a getaway, she wants to go someplace
wet, where she can just wander around "Gidget-like" in the rain. To each their own, I guess.
