Just what I'm looking for. I'll list crazyguy sometime before the end
of the week. I'll post when I do. First I need a few others from other
    subjects that interest me.

    Thank you!

Here's my bicycling blog. I even write about my rides on occasion.

I Googled for you and I'm impressed with your accomplishments!

    Where's the website you're building?

I'm looking into blogger.com, but I haven't got it untangled yet.
    Thanks for the compliment.

It takes some figuring and some time. I use blogger.com and there are
features I wish it had; at the same time there are subtle things just
below that surface that greatly improve the utility of the blog. Some
    important things:

    * Pick a catchy, short title for your blog.

    * Subscribe to blogs you like using a feed service so you don't have to
visit them every day. I like bloglines.com.

    * Go to technorati.com and read up on tags when you get the chance.

    * Ditto for flickr.com (photo-sharing service).

Thanks. It really is a bit daunting right now. I got it started, then
didn't like what I did. So I'll start over.

    Here's mine: http://www.steephill.tv

It's not as polished as some blogs but it's not as distracting either.
No special blogging software is used so I can do whatever I want. I
    also have an rss feed.

Looks good to me. I've made a note of it. I'm still figuring out mine.

  13. All right, I'll join in. I get about 15 hits per day.
Occaisional e-mails from people asking about the mountain or some
    product review I did.

Over two years worth of posts.

  14. Here's my two cycling blogs:

    http;//cfsmtb.blogspot.com

    bicyclejustice.blogspot.combicyclejustice.blogspot.com

One's not very serious 🙂 , the other one is unfortunately quite serious. 😠

    Also check out: http://links.tortoiseandharedesigns.com/
    for stacks of great links.

How do you count hits on blogspot? Do you have a hidden image file
hosted on another server or something that you use to track your
    visitors?

I encourage bloggers to utilize trackbacks and tags if your software
    allows it.

  16. Here are my rides stuck onto Google Maps (along with some photos
    taken on the rides):

    http://www.geocities.com/qpliu/map/rides.html

There's not much to read-- it's more riding than writing.

  17. The response to my request has been much better than to other groups.
Only one from swimming, one from triathlon, and one each from aquaria,
ponds, and herps. I'm still getting my act together, but eventually
I'll make one link for each of these interests which are on my web page.
Hard to choose among the bike ones. They're all good.

I use bloggingstats.com - it puts a little counter in my sidebar and
sends me regular updates. I'm too dumb to know what trackbacks and tags
are - I'm lucky I could put in my e-mail addy.
