As long as you aren't running V-brakes, brifters are going to work with virtually any road brake.
Sachs Ergos are a good bet if you can find them. They should shift either 7 or 8 Shimano, and
probably Campy too. I never ran Campy, but I did run both Sachs FWs and Shimano cassettes
with my setup.
Suntour made a brifter, ?Command Shifters? but they weren't nearly as slick as the alternatives.
You may also be able to dig up some Shimano 7sp STI if you look hard enough. I did about a year ago,
but haven't looked since.
