It "is a sports-themed family restaurant with a menu featuring salads,

"Patrons can play trivia on an NTN system and watch sporting events on one

Stopped in here today after a haircut and shopping (at Costco) - didn't buy
anything, except my monthly $.51 pharmacy prescription. I'd be willing to
buy a year's worth and not go pick it up once a month. No-can-do.
I didn't take the 2 lbs. of Italian fontina cheese back that we felt was
"just a little too ripe." Just considered it a loss. I would've felt too
cheesey -- I mean chintzy.
This wore us out, so we stopped on the way home for some sustenance about
4pm at Buffalo Wild Wings. Knowing it's a sports bar, we didn't expect a lot
and we weren't disappointed.
My chicken salad was served in a little octangle black plastic plate, the
kind that you put one of those plastic pop-down tops on at Costco -- in
fact, I thought it looked so much like Costco's chicken salad to go that
that was it, but the lettuce was more a head lettuce than the darker green
lettuce that Costco provides. They gave you a dressing in one of those
plastic 2 x 4 tear-and-squeeze containers -- I immediately sqeezed it all
over the table and got some on my pants and top. Of course, there weren't
enough skimpy hard-fibered-paper napkins to get anything off the table. I
enjoyed the plastic fork, but DH's meal evidently didn't demand a fork, so
he wasn't provided with one, that he did need, so had to wave for attention.
DH had a draft Bass and I had a foreign draft beer (wheat). His bass didn't
taste like bass. When DH ordered second a Sam Adams, it did taste right.
DH told the 'head guy' when he was ordering the Sam Adams that the Bass
didn't taste right, the 'head guy' said something like, 'that's interesting'
and went on about something else. I guess he's heard it all, and probably
knew that we wouldn't be back for their succulent food.
Something new to me is that both the waitpersons both sat down at our table
when they were taking our order. Wow! Big order to discuss! For some
reason it really annoyed me.
Geez, I hate eating out at these chains. But I guess sooner or later I'll
have to hit them all.
Venting,
Dee Dee
