  1. Hi All,

I am building a bicycle simulator. I want to make this as inexpensive as possible.

    If correct. I need...

A bike trainer (I want it to be magnetic or motor brake so it engages with the simulator. Any recommendations? Inexpensive..)

3 sensors - Handle bar - Cadence - Reer wheel Tyre. (i cannot find handle bar sensors ANYWHERE! Does anybody know where?)

What else will I need? I know tacx make full systems and as it is open hardware/software I can manipulate that but I dont want to pay £4-900. Any solutions? I am prepared to spend about £350

    Thanks a bunch...

    Daley

  2. What's a handle bar sensor?

  3. It's the thing that senses your handlebar.

Well, the "thing" I use to sense the handlebar - sudden failures excluded - would be my palms...

  5. Yeah. That's what's he's getting at...you can't find palms ANYWHERE these days.

    Venice Beach?

  7. 29 Palms? Maybe.

All the sensors at Venice Beach are measuring bikini fill.

You can always find Rosie Palm and her 5 sisters, though, when the need arises.

  9. No way! I'm engaged to Palmela Handerson!
