Buying a new bike for my fiancee in San Francisco. Bike will be used for commuting (no more than 3 miles) and the occasional weekend ride. There are a few hills and a ton of pot holes. This is her first bike purchase. Please send all suggestions/thoughts?
Reason why the 2010 Marin Terra Linda -
discounted due to black friday, so we are getting (what i think) is a good deal? But it is a 2010 bike. Did the frame, brakes and etc change drastically from 2010 to 2012?
Both bikes are in the same price range. Marin has brand name affinity while a ton of SF commuters reccomend the Jamis Coda Sport.
Suggestions? Please help.
