1. Hey guys i came across this laser lane marker has anyone got one before and any good?

Thinking of grabbing myself one when i get some more cash..

  2. 1. Would you really want traffic passing you that closely?

    2. What is rear visibility like with headlights washing out the laser?

  3. Looks cool, but I'd rather have all the light energy beamed straight back so the driver can see me sooner. Plus, agree with CB that I don't want drivers passing that closely...the "lane" just isn't wide enough.

  4. Somebody had one of those in a group ride the other day.

I haven't noticed the laser at all, I only noticed it when having a look on the road while drafting cycling right behind it.

Maybe if it was fitted with a mist machine too, it would be more "noticeable".

Yup. You paint that narrow a picture, you're inviting a close pass. No thanks. I'll take my chances with a standard blinking taillight.

The thing is placed on the seat post I think and how "wide" the "lane" is probably depends on how high (Oooooooooooh I can't believe I just wrote that! ) you place it on the seat post.

If you place it higher it might make a "wider lane".

Anyway I saw them a couple of times on the road, they are not that noticeable.

Btw not spamming or anything but I just found some nice lights. Rechargeable with Li-Ion batteries (they create higher voltage then AA assemblies?) which are pretty good.

    They are made from "Lezyne":
