  1. I just got a brand new Campy Record Hiddenset and there were no headset
bearings in the box. I found some photos of this headset at several
online bike shops, and they show all the same parts that I have, and
with no bearings shown in their photos. Do you have to buy the bearings
for the Campy Record Hiddenset separately?

HD-HS-110 are the bearings and of course the HS comes with the
    bearings.
They are packaged in this fold out plastic package that reminds me of a
stack of condoms but ya should have gotten bearings with it.

  3. That`s what I thought, since I`ve never seen a headset that didn`t come
with bearings....that makes 2 headsets in a row I have purchased that
had parts missing. I also need to find a source for a missing crown
race for a 1" threaded FSA Duron-X headset......

Call or e-mail FSA. They have been most helpful with any issues I have
had in the past. A+ service. I think the guys name is Brian.

you know it's a bearing cartridge, right? no visible balls or races.

But they still have 'crown races' for the fork, even the split type but
    still needed.

  7. Cartridge bearings for a Campy Hiddenset?......All the info I`ve been
able to find says the bearings are 1/8" caged balls, and this photo
shows the same headset I have and it clearly shows that the bearings
are the loose ball type with a retaining ring........

5/32 balls, pretty sure, in a cage.
