it. I don't know the reason for this and I'm not familiar
with her medical history (nor would I dare ask her about
it ... :-) .
If you don;t know her medical history how are you so certain
that the diagnosis is correct??

that's a solid fact. I know that thousands of people live
with it and settle for milk substitutes etc.; all I'm
trying to do is find some way to regain her ability to
digest milk. This is just an aspect of quality of life. And
again, since conventional medicines are no good, I'm trying
to look for other ways, such as homeopathy.
HOw about lactase pills that substitute the lactase that she
is missing (assuming she is really lactase insufficient)?

I can provide a solid example from my personal experience.
When my youngest son was a few months old, he suffered from
continuous occurrences of Acute Otitis Media. Antibiotics
didn't help; we were frustrated and almost agreed to a
surgery. But then we decided to try and turn to Homeopathic
treatment (I was very skeptic at the time ...). The
Homeopathic treatment (with drops to the mouth and special
iodine-like drops for the ears) completely STOPPED the
Acute Otitis Media !!! We gave the drops regularly also to
my eldest daughter. Today she's 5 years old, and the
youngest is 3 years old; and for the last 2 and a half
years they have been TOTALLY HEALTHY (knock wood ...). This
is remarkable in my eyes.
I understand that you are completely convinced that the
homeopathic treatment is the reason why the acute otitis
media stopped. Remember that correlation does not imply
causation. Acute otitis media can spontaneously remit. It
may just be a coincidence that the otitis media remitted
right after the homeopathic treatment.
I think that it is much more likely that the reason for the
otitis media stopping is something other than the
homeopathic remedy since homeopathic remedies especially in
high dilutions have no pharmacologic activity. There is no
logical mechanism that would explain a cause and effect
phenomenon.

So I thought Homeopathy might help also in the field of
lactose intolerance.
I think it unlikely based upon what I know about homeopathy.
