news service filters those out, but it doesn't help at all when someone
replies ALONG WITH the spammed URL.

You'll also note that I did delete all the spam stuff.

Are you actually unable to see the difference? No one is going to
change a spammer with an outraged reply, but getting the point across
to the people who reply to them is possible, and often effective.
