Alright folks, Ive been thinking a lot about eBikes lately and how theyve been gaining popularity in the cycling community. Ive heard some mixed opinions on whether or not they can be used effectively for training. So, I thought Id throw this question out there to all the biking enthusiasts - can you actually get a good workout and effectively train using an eBike?
Now, I know some of you might be thinking, Heck no, its cheating! But hold on a second. Ive heard from some friends that eBikes can still provide a solid workout, especially when youre tackling those tough hills. Plus, it can help you go further and faster, allowing you to explore new trails and push your limits.
On the other hand, Ive also heard that relying on an eBikes motor takes away from the physical effort and, therefore, the effectiveness of the workout. I can see where theyre coming from, but Im not completely sold on this idea.
So, Im curious to hear your thoughts on this. Have any of you incorporated eBikes into your training routine? Do you find that it still provides a challenging workout? Or do you think its better to stick with traditional bikes for training purposes?
Id love to hear your insights and experiences, so lets get a discussion going! Lets keep it friendly and open-minded, as theres always something new to learn from our fellow cyclists. And remember, theres no right or wrong answer here - just share your thoughts and lets have a great conversation. Cheers!
