Greetings All,

Does anyone know if using a carbon bike on a stationary trainer is damaging to the frame? I've recently replaced my steel frame with a carbon frame and would like to continue my regular indoor training schedule.
Has anyone had any experiences or knowledge of this question?

Thanks!

You're better off not using your carbon frame on a trainer. You've probably noticed how much more your frame flexes (particularly through the BB area) while on a trainer as compared to riding on the road. This increased flex helps to fatigue your frame at a greater rate.
