  1. The CCA-Hamilton Legacy Fund from the 2003 Worlds was supposed to fund a project(s) this year. Did it?

  2. Seems like a good time to ask this again, what has been done with the $600,000 legacy fund from the 2003 World Road Championships?

    Which projects have been funded?

Who is in charge of this money?

Are Pierre Hutsebaut and Brian Jolly still involved?

Is the interest being used to pad the CCA budget?

Where is the big annual event in Hamilton that was supposed to happen?

What has been happening at the McMaster Cycling Centre? Do they still have only 10 kids in Sprockids program in a city of 500,000 people?

Didn’t somebody tell you that we would never get answers to these questions?

    [font=Times New Roman] [/font]

  3. My question is "What is Ed doing for Canadian Cycling?" He makes these claims (some only implied) that he knows all and that through him all things cycling would be paradise.

What he does is spend time sending emails to CCA sponsors attempting to convince them not to fund the CCA. The next step is to complain about the lack of new funding sources in the CCA. It might be that if Ed were not to send the emails that the CCA would be a healthier place, for sure it would be happier. How much time does he suck up when real work could be done. Is this not all about his ego and his dismissal?

  4. The CCA has sold the sport liKe a cheap [censored] to Tim horTons.

There is no way in hell that Tim Horton's should be getting nLL four discipline National championships and ALL four national teams for about $400,000.

    That is a travesty.

    It is an embarrassment.

Even the CCA knows it is a bad deal. They will not even make public the amount of the pitiful sponsorship.

Tim Horton's should be paying AT LEAST $400,000 PER DISCiPLINE OR $1,600,000 FOR WHAT IT GETS NOW.

TIM HORTON'S IS SCREWING US OVER.

Better to not take the sponsorship than to sell it for nothing.

Club Cycliste de Montreal got $300,000 in cash plus another $200,000 worth of material PER YEAR for ten guys for a private team back in 1990.

  5. So, what I hear you saying, is that you, as one person, far removed from cycling, knows best and should be making the decisions for all cyclists in Canada. This is the motivation that prompts you to email CCA sponsors encouraging them to drop their sponsorship. It's great to have you on board! We need to remove all sponsorship before we can get new ones. This may be why you don't here from the CCA sponsorship person, they are busy trying to mend the bridges you break. Maybe if you kept to yourself they would have more time to work on new sponsorship?

    Far removed from cycling?????

Try "actively involved in competitive cycling for 33 years"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Mend bridges?

The marketing and communications people at the CCA have not even bothered in 8 months to list their supposed "new sponsors" on the CCA web site.

Go look Prairie Child. Look at the suppliers and partners, the have been the same fro years. Where are the new sponsors, where’s HR Block, where’s Delta Hotels, where's National Car Rental.

Furthermore, what have these sponsors even given the CCA????? A discount on your tax returns??? Is that it??? Did they give any cash???? Very unlikely since the CCA won’t even discuss it.

Lacelle was a failure and quit. Kim Sebrango is worse and she should be fired.

That should be the very first order of business of the new COO or Executive Director, to can her ass and get somebody with an understanding and passion fro the sport that they can communicate to sponsors and media.

BTW, the situation as it now stands, is that you have one person who knows ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT CYCLING (Kim Sebrango) making the decisions for all of you.

  8. Really Ed, you are far removed from cycling. Just because you are racing (are you really still racing, you look kind of fat on your web site) does not mean that you are involved. And you still miss answering the question, what gives you the right to work at dismissing all the CCA sponsors? You seemed to have assumed some responsibility that was not asked of you.

  9. Not racing at all.

You don't need to race to know what's going on, Prairie Child, in fact it probably helps if you don't.
I have a very good idea what is going on in most places in Canada. I have my sources, don't fool yourself. There are a great many people discontent with what they see. Why do you think Bill Kinash was tossed out on his ass after one term? That's never happenned before in the history of the CCA!

  10. That Prairie Child is hilarious! Gets me at the core.
    Are you avoiding the question?
    Still waiting for an answer.

I'm not sure what the question is?

Do you mean this, "what gives you the right to work at dismissing all the CCA sponsors? You seemed to have assumed some responsibility that was not asked of you."

I have all the rights I need to voice my opinion and contact people about it.

As for assuming responsibilities not asked, that's called taking initiative. Try it sometime.

I think Uboat is so smart and funny Prairieboy! He is what's needed on this forum. But no one is answering the questions, no one!

So, instead of helping the CCA to secure new sponsorship by letting potential sponsors know what a great sport we have, you let our current sponsors think that they are making a poor decision investing in cycling. Does that not seem counterproductive? Shouldn't you be trying to build on what we have?

What is your goal? It seems that your only aim is the destruction of cycling in our country. Is that what the membership of the CCA wants?
And what are you assuming responsibility for? Is the cycling community a better place with you?

  14. Prairie Boy said:

Is the cycling community a better place with you?

    Yes.

  15. Fausto Coppied said:

    Yes.

Let's get out of this darkness and become people of the light. If the cycling community is a better place with you, why is it only you who is aware of this fact?
Weren't you fired from that cycling thing? You are so [censored] about not being able to follow it through and have the entire cycling world say how great you for putting on the race that you have been on this rant for years. Because this happened while Bill was involved, you have this big hard on for him now.
The reality is that you are incompetent in the cycling world and were fired because of that. You have been unable to maintain any sort of job. Are you still living in your aunt's basement?
Get a grip, have some forgiveness and move on.

There is only one thing that Ediot is able to get a firm grip on and even that is no longer responding to his constant tugging. Rather sad and pathetic - kinda like one of those Chimps in a zoo

Prairie Child, you seem very misinformed but I suppose that is understand living out there in Saskatchewan. It's not like you're exacty in the loop.

Perhaps you should do do a quick Google search. You will see where I am living and what I am doing.

I am very gainfully employed and living in New York State with a beautiful woman who is an OR nurse.

I am the most competent person in cycling that you will find in the country. Every project I have worked with was better due to my invovlement. My accomplishments in mamanging my team are still unrivalled alost 20 years later.

My work in Hamilton was completeled ahead of schedule and better organized than every other department which is why they thought they could let me go and not suffer, though they did.

As for Bill Kinash, he was a total incompetent when it came to the CCA. He should never have been President in the first place. As it is, he became the first and only one-term president in the CCA's history. He set the sport back 10 years.

Due to his incompetence the CCA and Canadian Cycling FAILED to capitalize on one long-term partnership or deal from the 2003 Roads Worlds and that after $15,00,000 was invested.

    That is a disgrace.

The very first chance the CCA voters had to throw him out they did.

Now we stilL have to deal with the mess Kinash left at the CCA, like a badly behaved puppy [censored] on the floor. Thankfully Steve Lacelle has resigned. Soon Kim Sebrango will resign or be fired. These people WHO HAD ZERO CYCLING EXPERIENCE shouLd NEVER HAVE BEEN HIRED IN THE FIRST PLACE TO RUN THE SPORT FOR THE COUNTRY.

Maybe you could post a picture of your prostitute, I mean girlfriend, so that we can see.

It is public record that you were fired for being incompetent. And your version of success is far beneath what the average cyclist would endorse.

Happy to hear that you have left the country. The US seems a better fit anyway, with all their guns and violence. I wonder why you still want to be involved with the CCA? You have physically moved along, wouldn't it be more peaceful if you could let all this stuff about your firing go too?

... he was "small" into prostitutes in Hamilton and having talked to a few people who worked there - seeing him go was the best day of their life. Misused funds, sabatoged computers, stole chairs, absued female staff (when they didn't find him appealing). Why anyone would say "if only Ediot could get along with people ... he'd be great" Fact of the matter is you are what you eat ... and this guy is 20 years+ out of date. His mental health issues finally got so bad that he got turfed. The door is permanently closed.

    What a load of [censored]!

    Misused funds??

Oh yeah there were misused funds and Neil Lumsden the COO of Hamilton 2003 misused them and Pierre Hutsebaut of the CCA went along with it even when it was pointed out. Why? Because Hutsebaut was getting paid under the table to hire his niece, a French national, with Canadian tax dollars. When this was reveal she began complaining.

Sabotaged computer? No. Personal files deleted.

As for computer misuse Hamilton 2003 was run with pirated software, they did not pay for one Office Suite or Windows XP OS that was reported to Microsoft and an investigation file was opened.

Stolen chair? No. There was chair that was given to the organization (to Ed personally) by Tim Lefebvre of Ste Catherines Cycling Team. Ask Tim. What a silly thing to bering up. You really are grasping at straws and do not know what you are talking about, do you!

Incompetence? No way there either. Hutsebaut went out of his way to hire Arzouian because things were so screwed up in Hamilton he figured it woudl take Arzouian to fix them. Even Rob Jones was glad to see Arzouian arrive in Hamilton and told him so at the Toronto bike Show

Mike Shea the Chief Commissaire wondered how it was possible to put up with so much [censored].

    Nice attempt at disinformation.

Twenty years out of date when Ed Arzouian ran the Women’s Road World Cup in Montreal in 1999 and the Canadian Nationals in 2003. Again just another attempt at a blatant lie by people who will not even reveal their identity.

Sub 55 what was the last race you organized and when?

I get a kick out of you anonymous lying little cowards.

I don’t give a [censored] about your opinions or lies. I’ll set the recor4d straight every time.

I’ll wait and continue to point out the failures.

I got rid of Hutsebaut, Jolly, Kinash, Lacelle and I’ll get rid of Sebrango. There are all gone, I’m still here. If I don’t like the next Executive Director I’ll get rid of him/her, too.

I’m patient and goal oriented. I have all the time in the world.
