petro-chemical industry before becoming a presenter.

He was on a celebrity version of Mastermind a while back. He wiped the floor with everyone else on
his specialist subject, the History of Science, then failed totally on General Knowledge.

He did have a very strangely coloured bike designed by Mike Burrows, but it got nicked. On the
h*lm*t issue, he tends to sit underneath one when on the bike!
