Though it won't do anything. Even though the standard the ABS devised
allows for non-religious life philosophies (in which case you would be a
cyclist under the atheist group) the ABS won't use it and will just
categorise it as an answer not defined, which is grouped with the did not
answers, agnostics in the athiests major grouping anyway. The ABS wants to
inflate the Athiest category to show how enlightened and anti-relgious we
are.

Though curiously enough if you put down you practice Yoga you are counted
as a Hindu. The ABS likes pointing out how multicultural we are; how many
Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists and Wiccans there are. Even the UFO nuts get
counted along with all the other Neopagans in other religions.

As long as it doesn't get in the way of their main agenda with is getting
people to list the Christian Church they were baptised into, even if they
don't give a toss about it anymore, because there is lots of money to be
made selling that data to the Churches.

Same thing happened with the Jedi. They were counted as not-defined and
then grouped with the Atheists. But since there were 70000 of us they were
at least forced to acknowledge what they were doing, which made them very
uncomfortable.

Aetherius Society (Flying Saucer Group) was one of the many religons
classified as: 6999 Other religions, micellaneous, nec (not elsewhere
classified)

Pastafarian would probably be treated like Jedi, 0003 not defined, which is
grouped with no-religion when they tabulate the statistics.
Since it doesn't exist as a specific term in the ABS's census manual for
classification according to "Australian Standard 1266.0: Australian
Standard Classification of Religious Groups".

Cripes, I was a neo Pantheist* circa 1991, after progressing through a prolonged Gnostic phrase from the mid to late 80's. Happy Cyclist now.
