Since when asking for people's opinion and experiences about a 2K+
product is a troll ?? Stop making a fool out of yourself. A student
with -10K a year income cannot simply afford not asking before shelling
out that much money.
You didn't tell me the truth, just your personal and somewhat biased
opinion about reviews, since when that is truth ?
If the reviews have not worked for you don't generalize it to others,
and don't prescribe them with your own shopping methodology. As I said
if one feels like not contributing to a discussion, simply not answering
to it is the best option.

I was offering you what I sincerely believe to be useful advice. I could
have given you any number of opinions on the Dual, as originally requested.
I'll save you from that. If you want more useful information you might want
to describe you and your usage (height,weight, mileage, type of event,
current times etc)

By the way, slagging-off your only respondant might not be the slickest

When somebody asks a question, it certainly has some background before
it is asked. put it this way, I ask a question about people's experience
with this particular bike, which is a very common approach for buying
anything IMHO, This is my way of shopping and I have done it for my
computer, digital camera, running shoes,..... Instead, my answer was a
sarcastic tutorial about how to buy a bike. Leave these types of answers
for the questions along the lines of "How should I buy a bike", or
"what is the best way to buy a bike".
FYI, I already knew that the Dual is "a bike" and I had already ridden
the bike along with several other bikes in some store. I am sure you
don't think that every possible design flaw or discomfort shows itself
in a 10 minutes ride.
What amazes me is that a very simplest question was answered with
sarcasm and then others are supporting it too!!!.
Endurance athletes are supposed to be helpful, encouraging, and down to
earth. At least those that I have met in person were like that.

Go buy that bike man. It's a super bike, the CSC team ride Cervelo. I
believe that you will be very happy with it.

Maybe if you delete the first 3 sentences of the first paragraph and
the first 2 of the second then you are not being rude. And I will
agree that the first two sentences in the second paragraph where more
stupid than rude, unless you are the A#1 expert, and know everything
there is to know about the subject.

I know that my post was rude, just like this one. Rude posts are far
more entertaining than sincere helpful ones, but you shouldn't really
try to disguise rudeness as helpfullness.

Anyways, I didn't wanna fire something like this,
I agree that there are different ways to interpret
a written piece of text. I personally try to avoid
writing two-sided things that might sketch people out,
when my intention is not that.

Cervélo has identified a potential safety issue involving the down
tube loosening or separating from the head tube on some R2.5 frames.
Therefore, Cervélo Cycles is voluntarily recalling a limited number of

2005 model year R2.5 carbon bicycle frames.

Although the 2005 R2.5 carbon road frame passed all the standard
industry frame tests, this particular problem was not uncovered during
those standard frame tests. Cervélo has now discontinued the R2.5
model. The currently produced carbon road frames do not use the same
lug design and are not susceptible to this problem.

This recall only applies to 2005 R2.5 road frames with serial numbers
greater than R251700. These frames could have been purchased as a
frameset or built with Shimano DuraAce (red decals) or Campagnolo
Chorus (blue decals). All affected R2.5's have clear coating over
carbon fiber - see photo's along the left of your screen.

If you purchased a 2005 R2.5, and have since sold it or given it away,
please email the recall coordinator at [email hidden] as soon as
possible with the name, phone number, email address and or full mailing

address (or any and all contact information you have) of the person who

purchased the frame from you, so Cervélo can inform them of the recall

process. Please share this notice and website with all your riding
friends or bike club.
