The cost of being lazy eh! I was too knackered at the time ;-)
The bearings still feel nice and smooth, i haven't taken the seals off. I didn't know you could! The do not disassemble warning just put me off and i never even thought about having a go myself! I've smoothed off the crank damage, taken the cups off each end and the spacer tube. Cleaned, greased and put back together. It seems to be okay for now maybe the grease is holding it together ;-)
Was out again last night and gave it a hard time, not a peep from it. I'll order up a new BB ready to go though, all the same.
