Okay, the new Harbor Freight flyer arrived and I was just ogling tools
that I don't need . . .
Any self-respecting weight weenie must obtain this $10 tool to carry
on rides to the local bike shop:

"My good man, you claim that this rim weighs 435 grams, do you? Well,
let's see if you're telling the truth!"
[Customer whips out pocket digital scale that reads in grams, ounces,
troy ounces, or (!) pennyweights.]
"Egad, sir, my pocket scale shows 282 pennyweights, not 280! How can
you live with yourself, deceiving the public like this?"
[Local bike store shop-keeper silently snips dangling price tag off
the rim. For some reason, he keeps holding the scissors, pointing them
at the weight weenie instead of putting them away.]
"Er, never mind. Do you stock the new light-weight carbon-fiber valve
caps?"
Cheers,
Carl Fogel
