Cleat query

Are those types of screws unavailable at hardware stores in UK?
If really so, you could try mail order. Here in Germany they
are broadly available. Try looking for "Senkkopfschraube".

I bought some bolts from them a few weeks ago - quick delivery and very
reasonable prices.

SPD cleat screws have a slightly unusual head profile. Normal countersunk
screws will work in a pinch, but the genuine items have a deeper socket.

There is a Shimano part number: Y-417 04030

A decent bike shop should be able to order a set, if they don't already have
some lying around.
