  1. I buy coca cola 2 liter bottles. When i first drink them, it's ok.
But, when they are a day old, I get weird stomach aches. What's up
    with that?

The only diffrence is a drop in CO2 partial pressure. It is flatter. So why
    that
makes you have stomach aches is a question I am now contemplating.

Maybe semi-flat coke is a useful diagnostic for something sinister...

OTOH, why do you feel OK after "fresh" coke?

    Chypho...

    Carbonic acid.

    Quit drinking that [censored].

    It has NO nutritional value.......

    Ha, .... Hah, Ha!

Your comments reminds me of my mother.

I will suggest that next time you don't finish a bottle, put it in the
refrigerator so it wont rot and make you sick.

    You have my condolences. 🙁

  9. i did put it in the refrigerator.

    i'll try leaving it out.

Switch to Pepsi. Coke has too much sugar.

Most of the brown sodas contain phosphoric acid. If you want the
caffeine, switch to Mountain Dew which doesn't have phosporic acid. To
the best of my knowledge, phosphoric acid hasn't been proven to be
harmful in the amounts in sodas, but some suspect that it will reduce
    the body's store of calcium.

IIRC, it has been shown that substituting diet sodas for the sugar
sodas will help in weight control. It seems obvious, but someone did
    the experiment.

That website isn't very convincing. I am skeptical of Aspertame, but I
don't see a more attractive low-calorie sweetener. I have tried
sucralose, but have had some side effects from that and it doesn't have
a short half life in the body.

Try not using any sweeteners. Your taste will get used to it.

I may have spoken too soon. I just tried a Stonyfield Farm Light
Smoothie which is sweetened with Erythritol (a sugar alcohol). Since it
is a natural product and well tested, it should be safe in small doses.
Erythritol is only 70% as sweet as sugar and at least 10 times as
expensive, so it probably isn't going to make it into sodas.
