However, if you research the matter (other than going to web sites that sell the stuff, I mean),
you'll find that most of the claims for CS are unproven, unfounded or flat-out false. For example,
it's never been shown that *drinking* silver can do anything other than turn your skin a permanent
grayish color (if you drink enough of it). Many commercial CS products saved money during the production stage by not actually including any
silver at all. Some claims, like "microorganisms cannot become immune to silver" are flat-out false -- examples of
silver-resistant microorganisms are documented. Claims about "kills 650 different kinds of bacteria"
are nonsensical. There are *so* many kinds that 650 is a drop in the bucket.Silver does have its uses as an antimicrobial, but only in things like burn dressings, or as a
coating on needles and other materials that penetrate the skin.Save your money, and avoid the risk of turning gray.

others think.Silver salts (as opposed to colloidal metallic silver) have found extensive use in medicine as a
weak antiseptic, when applied undiluted directly to bacteria. The obstacles to silver products
having any effect in the human body are huge, because of difficulties in absorption of colloidal
particles, dilution effects, the tendency of colloidal particles to become sequestered away in lymph
nodes and the sleen, and the strong binding of any silver ions formed (the only way silver can act
on bacteria) to protein e.g. in the skin. Not only is collidal silver implausible, but it has never been shown to do anything that cannot be
observed in persons taking a placebo..Peter Moran

Dear Mr. Andrews, Have you ever seen a person "blue" from it? I doubt it.
Some people have been using it for years, without turning blue, and getting
very few infections along the way.

I happen to agree with that. Have *you* done any independent research into CS ? I think no.
You think wrong. I did quite a bit. I found nothing to indicate that taking colloidal silver will
do anything positive for you.-- David Wright :: alphabeta at prodigy.net These are my opinions only, but they're almost

So, in your mind I am a troll? Because I ask a question that you avoid answering? Your posting
history screams TROLL! Mr. Andrews. But back to the subject.
Mr. Andrews has NO experience with Colloidal Silver. He thinks that his reading is research. He will
not be able to explain why people that have been using CS for years are STILL not "blue". But,
go ahead Mr. Andrews, tell me how people who have used it are trolls for questioning you. "Rich

I understand now. You have not seen any such people. You could be up-front
and honest , and simply say so, but you attempt to deflect the debate.
You are too easy.

Ok, so "Facts" do not come from actual experience. Do you happen to know how
much was used and for how long in your "factual" accounting? While you are
at it, how do you know that what you read is factual?

That's ok. You stay away from it. You cannot afford it.
How do you know that there is "no" research on it? Do you mean to say that
you cannot find any? You can look further than your internet connection you
know.
Interesting that you think experience is not real. Must be one fine

"argyria colloidal silver."All scientific sources state that there is no proof that it provides any benefit in humans. The ones
claiming scientific proof do not cite human studies.I also note that the only ones who hype its usefullness are selling it. That is often a dead
giveaway that the product does not do what the hucksters purport it to do.Now, let's get back to your total inability to post any real proof whatsoever that it is effective
in humans. you seem to be avoiding this like it has something icky about it.Just do not use anecdotes, testiMOANials, or sales hype.
