The Ultra 3000 isn't quite as durable or long-lasting as the GP3000, but has the same
rubber compound.

The ones on sale @ Performance are 25 mm, in case it matters to you.

The one (and only) time I tried a 25mm tire in the rear, I had a constant issue with it rubbing the chain stays...

I use the Conti Ultra 3000's in 700x25 on my Kirk. They provide good grip and a nice ride. The sale
price makes them a large bargain, so I bought 4!

I got a pair for my Serotta and liked them so much I ordered another six. Heck, if they're going to

I have the Continental Ultra 3000 wire version. I got the 20's while they had them at performance bike for 12 bucks! Great deal I bought 4. I put them on my Trek 1200 and have ridden them about 500 miles so far. No flats and also in wet and raining conditions with no slips. I like them so far. I am a light rider though (about 140 lb). You can still get the Continental Ultra 3000 wire 20's at performance for 19 bucks I think

Ihave _never_ had a flat on a properly inflated Conti 2000
28; in over 5000 miles.
