Contour Boots?

I use a pair for summer walking - they do the job as adequately as any
boot that costs double. Wouldn't use them in serious winter conditions
though - that is when the Scarpa Manta's prove their worth.

I simply baulk, as does my bank balance at paying c. £150 for a pair of
boots. Have had the Contour Sierra (about £75-£80) for a year or so. Took a
bit of wearing in, but very happy with them.

Agreed. Unfortunately having tried the Contours yesterday, they don't
fit me - a bit too snug. I'm told Milletts do a leather boot called
"Skiddaw" which is about the same price (£60) so that's the next stop.

That's what I've used for the last two years and very happy with them I
am too (that is when I'm not wearing trail shoes)

I have a pair. It's a good boot but the rubber is coming away from the
boot a little at the front.
