Hey everyone,
Quick question. I have a 3-speed crankset up front, and want to switch to a two speed. Do I have to change my shifter and front derailleur to acomodate this, or is there some sort of adjustment I can do- in terms of setting limits?
I apprecaite the help on this.

What groupset are you using? (Shim, Campy, SRAM). Pretty sure you need to change derrailleur and shifters, but some -not all- shimano shifters are compatible with double and triple chainrings.
Best bet = LBS

SRAM doesn't have triple shifters.
You won't need to change your derailleur, you cans et the limit screws.
You will probably need to change the BB.
Limit screws means you will deal with the shifter too (turns a triple shifter into a double, effectively. You can't shift past the limits)

7:30am. Yeah I worked all day. Tryin to work towards an Alma carbon frame.

Sorry, I missed more than a couple of timezones calculating that one🙄 . Are you talking about the Orbea Alma carbon frame? Looks pretty awesome.

Yeah. I enjoy MTB racing and want to move away from trail (what my bike is currently set up for) to a more XC oriented bike. And it comes in white with WC stripes.
