does anyone make a custom cassette for campy compact cranks? Ideally I would like a 10-26 or even 29. Sheldon Brown tells me he does not have 10's for campy. Any ideas? Is this a bad idea for step hills/medium legs?!
thanks as always

11T is the smallest cog that you can get for the Campy. You can make your own custom casssette from two Veloce loose cog 11-23 and 13-29 cassettes, but I am not aware of anyone who sells them custom built up. Maybe a shop that does a lot of Campy parts volume like the soon to be resurrected Branford Bike (now to be in Seattle) or Vecchios in Boulder, CO.
I don' think it is a bad idea at all except that you will have to deal with the wider range between each gear. If you want narrower spacing over that wide of a range, a triple set-up might be better.
thanks. trying to give the range on a traditional set up in the low end...
Our team will be running Miche cassettes next year because they build them custom for us. I believe they do them custom for anyone. The only junior geared cassette we could get from Campy was a 14-23. It had little range to say the least. I'd try contacting or buying from them, but I'm still not sure if they sell a 10 t.

That's a great idea. I did Google them, but get a million retailers. Do you happen to have a web page/contact?

I actually did that right after I posted and got the same thing. I'll talk to someone on my team about who or what to contact.
