I am getting a shed to keep my bikes and various other stuff in.
I used to keep them inside the house but this house is smaller than my
previous place in Reading so there isn't enough room.
This shed will of course be secured by a decent padlock/bolt, but clearly
even this may not stand up to serious attack and I don't want scrotes
getting at the contents. Could anyone suggest any other (legal) security
methods? I am thinking of putting a few solid anchors inside the shed to
which the bikes are also chained, and various forms of alarms.
Apparently theft of cycles has recently become a big problem here, according
to the Chief Superintendent for Suffolk Constabulary Ipswich sector (he was
even on the radio talking about this, not often you hear a cop of such
senior rank talking about bicycle theft!).
Any help appreciated....
Thanks
Alex
