I was there and waited for a bit longer than usual, even ate an extra
doughnut waiting (that's when I saw the TV guide). But decided not to
hang around coz I figured I was going to be very slow the rest of the
way home (and I wasn't wrong). Did you guys struggle without Blah to tow
you along?

did you see the almost-tragedy-turned-stylish-dismount as the guy zoomed up behind the camera hatchback car and realised too late they were breaking and ended up over th bars and almost sitting in the back seat?

Obviously more skills than Jazmo 😄 (ooooh. low blow from the dutchster)

and repeats at 3.30 pm on tues in case ur like me and missed this morning's airing. It's a dumb time to put it on - too many cyclists will be either crawling home through the final kms of a ride (ie me!!!) or eating donuts and drinking coffee (ie wishing that was me at 11.30 this morning 😄 )

What did they feature this week????????? Is the format the same as last year?

Polaris orienteering thingy in canberra
interview with courier by (bugger. forgotten her name Mactier, was it???)
"uhhh. we do bout 80k a day"
"Wow, so you must do about 500-600kilmetres per week then!"
(On her planet there must be 7-8 working days per week, LOL)
Story on a (memorial?) ride by 30odd pluggers from SYdney-ish to hometown of late Johnny Warren. This is when they showed Tommilaris getting off and walking up the hill (not good for the cleats!) and the aforementioned car-rear-entry-dismount.
I never really caught the show last year, so dont know if its the same format or not.
Perfect timing for me to die on couch after BR(x) and, well, um die some more whilst listening to Mr T.

That's the second time I've seen that courier interview. I saw it
getting filmed where I park my motorbike (lazy commute that day). I just
assumed it was going to be another Today Tonight hack job on couriers.

That was funny. That's the second time I've seen footage of him riding.
The first time he was riding along all wobbly and unco - strange as it
sounds I don't think he's actually that experienced at riding bikes.

shhh whispering ... I think we should be on aus.motorcycles ... this
forum is for the discussion of bicycles and 80's music not necessarily
in that order ... FJ1200 (it's getting a bit long in the tooth, bit like

i've been riding my MBT for more than 15 years, but today i rode a road
racer. when changing gears i had an almighty case of the wobbles.
its funny how moving your hands inwards six inches on the handle bars
makes such a difference to how you move/comensate/over-compensate/wobble
will take some getting used to changing from the bottom bar rather than
the handle bars..

the changers are on the frame bottom bar. i've seem many with this,
it just takes a lot of getting used to =) will head out again this
arvo =) was pissing down this morning =/ bright and sunny now! =D

need to find a high pressure adapter or summat too...
