Wonder if anyone can help with the website for D'Arcs. They are supposed to have a lifetime garuntee. I need to see if they will honour it.
I took the lens out on Sunday to clean it and the little piece that extends from the lens to clip into the frame broke off, I wanna see if they will replace it or if I need to buy a new lens.
Why not try Sportsmams Warehouse? Bought mine there, so they might be able to help.
I know Topsport selled them.
Did a check, maybe the SABC can assist.
Check it out on http://www.sabctopsport.co.za/ and go to the sport shop.

Tell us the outcome. I also have D'Arcs and would like to see what their response is.

looks like I'm gonna just take it to total sports where I bought it and see from there.

ahhh yes, good point, they should be much more helpful than totalsports. and they are just around the corner.
We both have a pair. The rubber earpiece om the stokers frame got lost. I mentioned it to Johan Bouwer at Bouwer Broers in Pta (my favourite no fuss extremely good value for money LBS and yes I am advertising!!!!!!) He prompltly gave me a new frame!!!!! I took the old frame back after two weeks.... service or what!!!!!!

Try contacting Omnico Marketing. The are the distribrutors. Just look for a GT, Mongoose or Easton ad in any of the SA cycling mags for a number.
just got back from Sportmans Wharehouse. they didnt have a lens in stock, but will be calling the D'Arcs rep out to have a look at it.
Interestingly, they have the same D'Arcs on special at the moment for the same price I paid for them 2 years ago.
just got a call from sportmans wharehouse. The D'Arcs rep wants my whole sunglass set back (I only left the lens with them) as he will be replacing it. Cool service I think. Will take it to them tomorow.
Just got back from Sportmans Wharehouse. I'm now the proud owner of a brand new pair of D'Arcs Scanner with Titanium ISOLENS. Free of Charge. Thumbs up to Denise at sportmans Wharehouse woodmead who went out of her way to ensure that I got the replacement this year.
That's a relieve.
Know at least I know that there are still some people who believe in Cust. Service.
