COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) -- Lance Armstrong finished seventh Thursday in a street race in the small
town of Hadsten, his second competition since his fifth straight Tour de France title. The Texan was
the clear favorite in the Danish race in Hadsten since most of his 71 rivals were local amateurs.
But local pro Jakob Moe Rasmussen won, finishing nine seconds in front of Armstrong. "It was a tough
race," a smiling Armstrong said. "The local guys were flying. I guess they had special motivation."
Moe Rasmussen joked about his victory. "It shows that I would have won Tour de France this year if I
had participated," he said.
